Anyone remember every major website, blog, and just about a vast majority of Internet users protesting both SOPA (Stop online piracy act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act)? And does anyone remember congress saying they'll not pass it "at this time"?

    Guess what.

Both bills were rolled into 1 single bill known as Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) and this version makes SOPA and PIPA look like child's play; as it also includes unlimited spying without any warrant.

The law grants The American Government unlimited control over the whole world-wide web, even other countries since VeriSign and ICANN control the full IP range on The Internet. And this seeks to enforce any country accessing The Internet to submit to the will of The United States Government (refusal means having that countries IP addresses suspended or terminated)

So for those of you who live in another country, how does it feel to be digitally invaded?

I really believe this law is unconstitutional

And if some fool told me they wanted to spy on people here, I'd tell the blunt and clearly to fuck off.

It seems that if they can't get us in one direction, they just try another and another until it passes.......CISPA sucks and it takes away our civil liberties. They don't care. If people would just realize that, perhaps they would get off of their asses and help to stop this kind of crap from occurring. The problem is that by the time the general public realizes what is going on and what they can do to help stop it, it's already too late. The only way to fight back is to bring awareness to these types of issues on a wide-scale before it is too late. Therein lies the problem.....b/c until people let go of the "Me" mentality and start taking notice of things even when it may not initially directly affect them, then not only the U.S., but the world as a whole is screwed. Issues like this may not affect you this minute, but it WILL affect you in some way, shape, or form and when it does you will be pissed, but then it will be too late...........and now is the time to take notice and fight back against the bullshit laws and bills being pushed upon us.

The only resolve maybe revolution. We need to think beyond ourselves, but we also need to think beyond thinking that something is too late to change. And this most likely may mean fighting, physically. For you can not fight a system within the system; which is designed for you to always lose.

I agree. There is a point where we must realize that "peaceful" isn't working.

As I currently do not use any of them, yes. Not hard at all.
